Performing Arts Management Course 2026

Building the next generation of cultural leaders and arts managers

Program Details

  • Duration: 6 March – 10 July 2026

  • Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

  • Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM IST (timings may vary for few sessions)

  • Mode: Live online sessions via Zoom

  • Attendance: Attend at least 80% of all scheduled sessions (measured by hours of attendance)

Learning Focus

The curriculum integrates conceptual understanding with hands-on skills across the following modules:

  • Branding & Communication – Crafting the narrative of your artist or organization

  • Production Management – Planning, budgeting, and executing performances

  • Curation & Programming – Designing meaningful audience experiences

  • Cultural Entrepreneurship – Building sustainable creative ventures

  • Legal Frameworks – Understanding contracts, copyrights, and trademarks

  • Content Marketing – Storytelling, digital presence, and audience engagement

  • Sponsorship & Fundraising – Navigating partnerships and financial sustainability

  • Grant Writing – Structuring compelling proposals

  • Networking & Collaboration – Building alliances within and beyond the arts

  • Equity, Inclusion & Workplace Ethics – Cultivating safe, diverse, and respectful spaces

 

Each session is designed to encourage critical thinking, sectoral awareness, and leadership in practice.

Who Should Apply

This program is ideal for:

  • Early and mid-career arts managers, producers, or administrators

  • Independent artists seeking to strengthen the management of their own practice

  • Cultural entrepreneurs building organizations or creative start-ups

  • Individuals passionate about the role of arts in social and cultural transformation

 

Eligibility

Applicants must be 18 years or older, have working knowledge of English, and a strong interest in contributing to a better, more connected world through the arts.

 

Program Fees

  • Early Bird Fee: ₹45,000 + 18% GST (until 1 December 2025)

  • Regular Fee: ₹60,000 + 18% GST
